Let’s face it, the summer time is hot and the last thing you want to be doing is heating up the kitchen by baking! Enjoy this easy to make cherry cheesecake recipe…which requires no baking at all! It’s cool, refreshing and super easy!
You will need:
Mix together graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup of sugar and ½ cup of melted butter. Ensure that the crumbs stay together nice and compactly. If they are too crumbly, add more butter!
Place the crust medley into a circular pie dish or glass casserole dish. Place in fridge for 1 hour or until cold.
Mix together the ½ cup of sugar and packages of cream cheese.
Place cream cheese mixture into the circular pie dish on top of the graham cracker crust and place in fridge until cool. Do not put the cherry pie filling on right away if the cream cheese is creamy, wait until it is cold and stiff.
Pour cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese in the pie dish. Chill for 1-3 hours until ready to serve.
Serve it up with some whipped cream topping and enjoy!
