In Nikki’s culture, she was expected to go to university and get a well paying job. But she wasn’t interested in the areas her parents wanted her to study, such as accounting or medicine. She decided that her happiness was worth more than pleasing her parents, knowing that she would be regret it in the long term if she didn’t follow her dreams. She wants you to know that you should live for what you’re passionate about, because you only live once.
