Flurt’s 4th birthday was back in August, but unfortunately due to busy schedules we didn’t take time to properly celebrate. So since it’s my birthday on October 17, I’m using the excuse to celebrate today. After all, it’s been 4 years since the blog-turned-magazine was just a vision in my head, and throughout the years it’s been a blessing to watch so many people come into my life and help it grow. I want to thank you for that. My goal is that one day Flurt will be on stands as a real option for women who want a magazine that doesn’t photoshop and gossip, and instead talks about real world issues that we care about. I know that with your help we can achieve that goal.
You can help make this dream a reality by simply buying a copy of the magazine here. You can also follow us on social media and share our articles with your friends through these mediums. You can even take a step further by joining the movement and using your talents to help build our team. Whether you’re a writer who wants to educate women on what’s going on in the world, a photographer who wants to capture natural beauty, a filmmaker who wants to create inspiring films, a graphic artist who wants to help design our magazine or just a person who wants to speak their mind, I need your help keeping Flurt going.
So even though it’s my birthday today, it’s really Flurt’s birthday. It’s really your birthday. This community, the one that wants to make the world a better place through empowering each other to create a new, healthy form of media, is the air I breathe. My hope is that it will be yours too. Let’s celebrate our 4th year together by promoting the magazine and ensuring we have the funds and the people to keep things going. You can start by buying the magazine here. And even if you don’t have the money to purchase an issue, simply sharing the link with your friends would mean the world to me and to everyone who works with me.
Happy 4 years to everyone who’s supported Flurt over the years, and here’s to many more!
