The Bechdel Test

The Bechdel test is a test done to see how movies measure up to feminist expectations. In order to pass the Bechdel test, a movie must have at least two females (who have names) who talk to each other, and who talk to each other about something other than a man.

Let’s see if there has been any improvement in women’s representations on the big screen. Try the test for yourself. Let us know what you find in the comments below.
