Meet Alannah Michener. Alannah, a 22 year old student at the University Of Alberta Faculty Of Extension Residential Design Certificate Program.  She just completed her final course in her program and will be graduating from it  very soon Alannah has a keen sense of fashion style and always comes to Tuesday night class dolled up from work at Splash Tub & Tile as a Bathroom Design Consultant.  She really loves her job and looks at it as an area of design in which she can specialize.

Now that Alannah is finished with the Residential Design Certificate Program, she will continue to work at Splash Tub & Tile to gain experience in order to work at residential building company designing show homes.  She has an affinity for design; every house she has lived in growing up, her family has built. She always worked with designers with her family to choose products for her home, and this inspired her to be a designer as well. In the future, she would like to advance her education in the design industry so that she will have the background knowledge to work for a residential design company.

Alannah just returned from her first trip to Vegas. In her outfit, she wears a beautiful silvery flowered scarf that she bought for just $10 in a Las Vegas Boutique. A scarf is a simple, way to dress up an outfit and add some ‘shiny’ to your wardrobe around the Christmas season. Additionally, Alannah wore these cute little shoe boots $40 from the Shoe Company. Every gurl needs the perfect little pair of shoe boots in fall and winter to wear with jeans or dress pants and that are comfortable. For me, it was the fact that Alannah’s outfit worked together to create a professional yet fun outfit. Perfect for a Design Consultant.
