Homemade Oatmeal with Cream and Brown Sugar

oatmealLooking for a quick, healthy breakfast or something to snack on to satisfy your sweet tooth? This easy recipe is light on your wallet but filling in your stomach, and it’s healthy too!

Brown sugar

Set a pot of water to boil. The amount of water should be equal to the amount of oatmeal.
When the water is boiling, pour in the oats.
When the oatmeal soaks up all the water and has turned into large pieces, you’ll know it’s done.
Serve in a bowl with a couple drops of cream and a couple teaspoons of brown sugar.

Cut up your favourite fruit, such as bananas or strawberries and serve them with the cooked oatmeal.
For a crunchier dish, add a tad of granola when serving.

Enjoy in bed on a lazy day, or as a snack while studying.
